Renewal by Andersen is the vertically integrated, direct-to-consumer subsidiary of Andersen Corporation—the largest window and door manufacturer in North America, generating nearly $4 billion in revenue. They have 100+ field locations throughout the United States and into Canada and are the largest full-service window replacement company in their category.

The Challenge

Expanding operational strength to sustain accelerating growth

Over the last decade, Renewal’s business has skyrocketed. Growth accelerated 40% in the past two years alone, requiring significant investments in manufacturing and operations.

 

The company’s central manufacturing facility in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, had been expanded three times, reaching 1.1 million square feet. In addition, Renewal began construction on a second manufacturing site in Locust Grove, Georgia, with a third site already planned.

Their executive team realized they needed new operational leadership capable of driving quality, safety, innovation, and cultural alignment across their expanding operations.

Driving end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain excellence with an experienced operations leader

We quickly organized a search around Renewal’s parameters for a new Sr. Director of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics.

 

This position would oversee a diverse team of over 1,500 associates, including 8 direct reports, to lead the evolution of Renewal’s operational processes and overall business growth strategy.

His oversight of multi-continent operations and previous experience as leader of 3M’s Sumare, Brazil site gives him the skills and expertise to position Renewal’s operations for their next stage of growth.
