Standardizing field operations to scale beyond $1B

As RT positioned themselves for $1B+ growth, their operations had not kept pace with their increased revenue. Their 40+ distribution centers operated with differing processes and metric tracking, leading to inconsistencies that threatened scalability.

Securing a hands-on leader with deep logistics and distribution expertise

Working closely with RT’s CEO and COO, we defined the ideal leadership profile. They needed someone with executive polish and strategic capability, but more importantly, the ability to drive execution by working directly with depot GMs and field teams.

 

This role required a leader with deep expertise in distribution, route-based service models, logistics, and operational efficiency since they would be responsible for fleet, distribution, and service operations for over $600M in revenue.

Using our PrecisionPath™ process, we successfully identified 149 executive prospects across several adjacent industries with the requisite experience and thoroughly evaluated potential candidates to find leaders who could meet RT’s needs.
